La Foresta di Fonte Spugna is 5 km from Castel Rigone (PG), at the end of a private white road about 1.8 km long, which starts from the provincial road connecting Castel Rigone to Preggio and Umbertide.
It is indicated by road signs reading “Ostello La Foresta di Fontespugna”.
Those coming from Castel Rigone will find the white road on the left after about 3 km (about 300 m after the junction sign for Perugia and Mantignana).
Those coming from Umbertide or Preggio will find the white road on the right, about 500 m after a pine forest.
Castel Rigone can be reached from the highway connecting Perugia to the A1 (exit Val di Chiana, Bettolle, Sinalunga): those coming from Val di Chiana must exit at Passignano Est, those coming from Perugia must exit at Magione.
